About this site

Why this exists.

The experiment

HASSL produces high-quality written training material on harassment prevention, bystander intervention, and gender equity. Each course is text-and-quiz on their member portal. This site is testing whether modern AI tooling can supplement that material with audio, video, slide, and visual formats — without replacing or competing with the original.

The hypothesis: a 30-minute written course plus a 7-minute explainer video plus a 30-minute deep-dive podcast plus an infographic poster reaches more people, in more contexts, than any single format alone.

How it's built

Each course's text is fed into Google's NotebookLM, which generates the five-format bundle from the source material in around 10 minutes. Outputs are compressed, transcribed with Whisper for synced captions, and embedded into the per-course pages on this site.
